A brief info about myself and my works.
My name is Larisa Romanova.
I was born in Russia in Tver Region in 1956.
In 1965 me and my parents moved to Estonia.
From 1964 till 1972 I studied in school.
In 1975 I graduated from the Tallinn College of Economics in specialty «Accounting in the industry.»
In 1991 I graduated from the Tallinn Technical University in specialty «Accounting and Analysis of the economic activity.»
From 1975 till 1995 I was working as an accountant.
Since 1995 I began working as an accountant/computer programmer.
I specialize in Estonian adoption of an accounting program «1C».
In September 2009 I began to draw. I took some private lessons in drawing from different teachers.
I draw in my spare time. I use different techniques in my works: pencil, rapidograph, gel pen, ballpoint pen, watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, spray paint. I am interested in trying new materials, so if there will be an opportunity, I will try to extend the range of the techniques I use. Some drawings and paintings were inspired by contact with certain people; others were created just for the soul. The main style of my paintings is abstract. I paint things that can not be photographed.
I consider God as my main teacher. I try to hear and understand what He would have wanted us to convey, and what kind of beauty (except for the earthly one) he wants to show us. Am I succeeding in interpreting Him, well, this is for you to judge, dear viewers.
I have created quite a lot of paintings and drawings to date. In 2011 on the advice of my friends I have decided to hold first solo exhibition of my paintings and drawings, called «Music of the soul.»
I hope that in my paintings you will be able to find something that will touch your heart.
